SOT Therapy Brentwood & Franklin

What is SOT Therapy?

SOT or Supportive Oligonucleotide Technique is an individualized therapy that helps the body combat bacterial and viral infections such as Lyme diseases, HIV, hepatitis, and Epstein Barr. The goal of SOT is to inhibit the expression of targeted gene sequences within a pathogen and stop their replication.

Learn more about SOT Therapy

Many of the harmful effects that pathogens have on our bodies are caused by their rampant growth and reproduction. In order for this growth to happen, pathogens have to send specific genetic signaling. SOT therapy blocks the gene expressions that are required for pathogens to grow.

First, one of the practitioners at Care Nashville will take a blood sample. Each patient’s blood sample is unique, and will be sent to a specialized lab in Greece to undergo testing. At the lab, scientists will determine the specific gene sequence of the infectious pathogen.

This information is used to create the intravenous infusion, which will be perfectly complemented to the pathogen, allowing it to be as effective as possible. SOT infusion leads to the shutdown of the gene replication sequences of the target cells and inhibits the following life cycle of the pathogens without harming your healthy cells. It sterilizes the pathogen at each stage of its life cycle.

SOT infusion takes about 45 minutes to an hour, so you can plan to relax in our infusion room. It’s worth your time as SOT works continuously in your body for up to six months to decrease the viral, Lyme or Lyme co-infection load.

At Care Nashville, we will work with you to provide a customized SOT treatment plan. Not only is the treatment itself entirely personalized, but our clinicians will also have a consultation with you prior to your treatment, where a variety of diagnostic tests will help your practitioner acquire a full understanding of your condition. SOT can be combined with other treatment options to address chronic illness and enhance overall health.

SOT is effective in treating tick-borne diseases like Lyme and co-infections of Lyme disease. It has also been used to combat viruses like HHV1/HSV1 (Human Simplex Virus-Oral-Facial), HHV2/HSV2 (Human Simplex Virus-Genital), HHV6 A & B (Human Herpes Virus 6), CMV (Cytomegalovirus), Coxsackie Type A & B, VZV (Varicella-Zoster (shingles)), EBV (Epstein Barr), HPV (Human papillomavirus), HBV (Hepatitis B), HCV (Hepatitis C), HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), and HTLV1— (Human T-cell Lymphotropic Virus).

Patients who have an illness caused by various viruses and Lyme bacteria may benefit from SOT Therapy. SOT injections can help the body fight against viral infections and prevent pathogen growth. This innovative treatment has the potential to treat the underlying cause of the illness, and therefore improve overall health, as well as symptoms.
